The Capex bar is a long aluminium profile, slightly arched with gasket running along its length on both sides. Available in White or Brown, it is designed to sit over the join where two sheets meet. It is most often used to secure multiwall polycarbonate sheet in roof construction, however it can also be used standing vertically during construction of screens and partitions.
40mm Capex bars, from Irish supplier Exitex, are slightly raised, aluminium profiles that have a strip of gasket running along either side of the bar. They are most often used lying flat, running over the join where two sheets meet on a rafter, however they can also be used standing vertically where sheets are being used in a greenhouse or outhouse / shed application.
